MPG City Plan prepared a comprehensive strategy to guide future residential and industrial growth in the City of Basra, Iraq.  The Master Plan provides a framework for modernizing the City over the next 25 years.  The intent of the Plan to preserve civil and cultural identity, create a range of employment opportunities for residents, provide a range of housing choices, respect religious, cultural and social conditions, and ensure the preservation of important natural environment systems and other distinctive features. The implementation strategy addresses issues that have influenced the conditions in Basra over the past three decades.
